To add and subtract using reversibility.

This week I had learnt how to do reversibility,
First, you have to reverse the equation e.g if the equation is 165 - 59 you change it to 59 + __ = 165.
Then you add to the first number to make it a even number.

After that you add to that number to get to 160, add the leftover 5 and add all the numbers that you added together.

Technology at Tamaki College

COOKING TECH
Today was the last day at technology and for the last day we made egg burgers. I was forced by Mikaela to work with her and I thought that she was useless but actually alright to work with.

I really enjoyed my last day here and is sad to leave but I look forward to the next class that we are in!

|| Year 8 Retreat ||

At retreat we learnt a lot of things, from Jorina’s Testimony
to the ACYM teams games. Most importantly I learnt that the
good choices that you make can sometimes hurt. The meaning
of that is the right choices could either be good or bad!

One thing I would do differently as a result is change the way
I make decisions. The way I usually make decisions Is sometimes
follow others. Now and further on I would change the way I make decisions by thinking about which choice is the right one.

Also on thing I would change is the way I work
with other people. Rashall told us a saying “Teamwork makes
the dream work!”,I think that from now on I should
work properly as a team when we work together!

Here is a artwork that symbolises the body and blood
of god because I learnt that it's the most important part of mass!

Mothers Day Letter !!

Dear Mother,

I just want you to know that you mean the entire world to me! I would be so lost without you. You've always been the best mother in your own unique way. Intimidated sharing and telling us honest opinion while growing up all those years have taught me so many precious lessons about life. You have helped me make the person I am today, professionally and personally. Thank you for being my friend, my supporter, counsellor, savoir, cook, nurse, and being the best Samoan mum ever!

Through all these years of parenthood, You have taught me how to be a better friend, cousin, uncle! Even Today, during a shooting star passes by, I’ll always make a wish that I could stay with my whole life. Mum, I love you, and no words are enough to explain my love for you.  Happy mothers day!!

Love you always and forever

Technology Wednesday 9 May

Today is the second to last week of tech with Mrs. Tuipulotu!

This week we had made egg, cheese and ham toast! Mrs. Lauchlan was with us and helped us! In my group was Izyah, Beni and I. I think that this experience can help further in life because now I can cook many things up to desserts and savouries meals!

REFLECTION!
I will use this experience in the future when I am alone and older.
This year at tech has been the best year so far! I have learnt many many things about cooking and also about measuring!

Technology Wednesday 2 May

Buttery, Sugary and Spicy! We had finally made my favourite dish ‘Butter Chicken’! In my group was Stella and Beni. In the beginning, I had to gather all the ingredients for the ‘Nun’ bread and Stella and Beni had to slice the chicken. In the bread was flour, oil, a pinch of salt, yeast and warm water. We folded it in and there was our dough. While I was kneading the dough Stella was frying the chicken.

We then spread the dough into circle shapes and put it in the oven. We added the cream and Butter Chicken and let it boil. We took the nun bread out and platted our food. We took photos and then we ate. This is the best dish I've made.
