Technology Wednesday 9 May

Today is the second to last week of tech with Mrs. Tuipulotu!

This week we had made egg, cheese and ham toast! Mrs. Lauchlan was with us and helped us! In my group was Izyah, Beni and I. I think that this experience can help further in life because now I can cook many things up to desserts and savouries meals! 

REFLECTION!
I will use this experience in the future when I am alone and older.
This year at tech has been the best year so far! I have learnt many many things about cooking and also about measuring! 

Technology Wednesday 2 May

Buttery, Sugary and Spicy! We had finally made my favourite dish ‘Butter Chicken’! In my group was Stella and Beni. In the beginning, I had to gather all the ingredients for the ‘Nun’ bread and Stella and Beni had to slice the chicken. In the bread was flour,oil, a pinch of salt,yeast and warm water. We folded it in and there was our dough. While I was kneading the dough Stella was frying the chicken.

We then spread the dough into circle shapes and put it in the oven. We added the cream and Butter Chicken and let it boil. We took the nun bread out and platted our food. We took photos and then we ate. This is the best dish I've made.

Technology Wednesday 11 April

Tech at Tamaki

Today at Cooking Class we made french toast, I worked with Mikaela I think that we did good and made nice french toast. The ingredients we used were milk,egg and bread. We mixed the wet ingredients and cut the toast in half, dipped it into the egg and milk and fried it until it was golden brown. Today I was the most fun lesson I've had.

On Monday Last Week I got 18/40 and Thursday I got 28/40. I got 10 more than last time because It wasn't timed it was sheet and I had time to calculate in my brain. Next time I will try to get 40/40!

Learn: We were learning about the art of Julian Opie. We created a self portrait of ourselves using the art of Julian Opie, copying the features on his art.  

Reflection: I struggled doing this artwork because I had to start over and over again, Next time I will try to do better!
