Welcome to Term 4

WELCOME TO TERM 4
During the Holidays my youth went to an outreach. Outreach is a program where we go to sing,help or clean people who are elderly or people with special needs.

It's the first week of school holidays and I was spending time cleaning somebody's house for a good cause. This lady’s name is Kolotita who was paraplegic which means that she was paralysed from the waist down. She was from the beautiful island of Tonga. She lived in Mt. Roskill with her husband.

We started of with a prayer, and she told us what to do. We had to split into groups, people who was doing the kitchen, the wallpapers,the washing and the lounge. I did the washing with Sepa. After all the chores were done we sat down and talked to the lady.

She was telling us that she wants to send her Vehicle’s to Tonga for other kids with special needs.Going to an outreach and listening to Kolotita really inspired me to be kind and helpful to other people especially those who are special needs people and need more assistance.

Highlight of Jubilee

Sunday 14th of September was the 60th Jubilee of my School, Saint Pius X Catholic School. During the Jubilee my highlight is the performances after the mass in the hall. My favourite group that performed was the Fijian group because they uplifted the whole event because it was literally dead.

My other Highlight was me dancing for the Samoan group because if it was a competition I would have won! I was brave and danced in front of everyone because Im used to all the attention! My group had done good and was actually nice because at the practise it was something else. Our uniform was nice with all the different colours and necklaces worn.

This is my Highlight of our School's 60th Jubilee!! Hope you enjoy!
